Tour Plan
Day 1: Gorakhpur - Lumbani - Chitwan 290KM
Upon your arrival at Gorakhpur Railway Station or Airport, we'll be there to greet you and accompany you to the revered Shri Guru Gorakhnath Temple, located in Gorakhpur. The journey to the temple takes approximately 30 minutes. It's noteworthy that the district derives its name from Guru Gorakhnath Ji, who, according to the Puranas, was an incarnation of Lord Shiva. Interestingly, the Gorkhas of Nepal trace their name back to Guru Gorakhnath Ji.
Following our visit to the temple, we'll proceed towards the Sonauli border, which lies about 100 kilometers away from Gorakhpur. The route to the border boasts scenic views of Tarai villages, and the roads are well-maintained. At the border, we'll pause for a while to complete the necessary vehicle entry permit procedures, which typically take over an hour.
Once the paperwork is completed, our journey continues to Lumbini, the sacred birthplace of Lord Buddha. From there, we'll advance towards the enchanting Chitwan National Park. Upon reaching our destination, we'll take some time to relax at our accommodation before immersing ourselves in the vibrant Tharu Cultural Dance Program. Finally, we'll retire for the night at our hotel, ready to embrace the adventures of the following day.
Day 2: Chitwan - Manokamna - Kathmandu 180KM
In the early morning at around 5:00 am, we'll embark on an adventurous jungle jeep safari and elephant safari. After the exhilarating safari experiences, we'll return to the hotel for a hearty breakfast. Following our meal, we'll begin our journey towards Kathmandu, making a stop along the way to visit the revered Manakamana Devi Temple, also known as Manokamana. Nestled atop a mountain, this sacred temple is dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati, an incarnation of Devi Parvati. To reach the temple, we'll take a memorable ride on the Manakamana cable car, renowned as one of the longest in Asia. After paying our respects at the temple, we'll descend back to the base station via the cable car and continue our drive towards Kathmandu, which is approximately 108 kilometers away from Manokamna. Upon reaching Kathmandu, we'll settle in for a restful overnight stay at our hotel.
Day 3: Kathmandu Local Sightseeing
Today, our exploration of Kathmandu Valley will take us to some of its most revered and captivating destinations. Our first stop will be the iconic Pashupatinath Temple, a sacred site dedicated to Lord Shiva, revered as one of the most significant in the world. This temple holds profound spiritual importance and is a magnet for pilgrims and tourists alike. It proudly sits on the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list, a testament to its cultural and historical significance.
Following our visit to Pashupatinath, we will venture to the nearby Guhyeshwari Temple, located just a kilometer away on the banks of the serene Bagmati River. This temple is a revered Shakti Peeth, adding another layer of spiritual richness to our journey.
Next on our itinerary is the enchanting Jal Narayan Temple, also known as the Budhanilkantha Temple, dedicated to the worship of Lord Vishnu. Set amidst tranquil surroundings, this temple offers a serene retreat for contemplation and reverence.
Our exploration continues as we make our way to the majestic Swayambhunath, affectionately known as the Monkey Temple. This prominent Buddhist stupa and monastery provide not only a breathtaking panoramic view of Kathmandu Valley but also a glimpse into the rich tapestry of Buddhist culture and tradition.

Day 4: Kathmandu - Chandragiri - Pokhara 210KM
Today, we embark on our journey from Kathmandu to Pokhara, with a delightful stop at Chandragiri Hill via cable car. Located just seven kilometers from Thankot, Chandragiri Hill offers breathtaking vistas of Kathmandu Valley and the majestic Himalayan ranges, spanning from Annapurna to Everest, at an elevation of 2551 meters above sea level. As we ascend, the panoramic views unfold, showcasing the unparalleled beauty of the region.
Continuing our journey towards Pokhara, we traverse through winding mountain roads, offering glimpses of quaint villages nestled atop the peaks. The scenic route to Pokhara is adorned with natural splendor, providing a captivating backdrop for our expedition.
Upon arrival in Pokhara, we retire for the night at our chosen hotel, ready to explore the enchanting lakeside town the following day.
Day 5: Pokhara Local Sightseeing
Today, our exploration of the Pokhara Valley begins with a visit to the iconic Taal Barahi Temple, nestled on a serene island in Phewa Lake. We'll then pay our respects at the Bindhyabasini Temple, dedicated to Goddess Bindhyabasini, revered as the sister of Goddess Durga.
Our journey continues along the sacred banks of the Seti River, a revered waterway in Hinduism, embodying the essence of Vishnu. Next, we'll marvel at the majestic Davis Waterfall, a breathtaking cascade within the heart of Pokhara Valley.
Descending into the depths of the earth, we'll venture into the mystical Gupteswar Mahadev Cave, where the revered deity awaits. To enrich our understanding of the region's rich mountaineering heritage, we'll explore the International Mountain Museum.
As the day winds down, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in leisure activities, whether it's indulging in shopping or strolling along the enchanting lakeside streets. Tonight, we'll find rest and rejuvenation at our hotel in Pokhara.
Day 6: Pokhara Nearby Sightseeing
Today, we're embarking on an exhilarating adventure in Pokhara city, indulging in thrilling activities like paragliding, ultralight flight, and bungee jumping. Following our adrenaline-filled day, we'll unwind in the evening with a tranquil visit to Begnas Lake, situated just 15 km away from Pokhara. Finally, we'll return to our hotel in Pokhara for a well-deserved overnight rest.
Day 7: Pokhara - Lumbani - Bhairahwa 225KM
Today, we embark on a journey from Pokhara to the Indo-Nepal border, with a significant stop at Lumbini, the revered birthplace of Lord Buddha. Lumbini lies approximately 195 km away from Pokhara, offering a scenic route through mountainous terrain adorned with picturesque hillside villages. Following our visit to Lumbini, we'll retire for the night at our hotel in Bhairahawa, conveniently situated near the Indian border.
Day 8: Bhairahwa - Gorakhpur 110KM
Today marks the culmination of our memorable journey. Following breakfast, we will embark on our final leg towards Gorakhpur. En route, we'll pause briefly, approximately for 20 minutes, at the border for necessary document checks before continuing our journey.
